Cause of Production

Kafuu	Rats! My house is so narrow, why?
Rinka	What are you doing? You do coming and going of the front of a desk.
Kafuu	I draw figure of report. But this work is troublesome because I must write figure while looking at the number on PC display.
Rinka	I guess so. There is surely not the width which a ruler is used on your PC rack.
Kafuu	Yes. Therefore I must go to look at the number on the display, and I must come back to the desk to draw the figure. I need to move one by one.
Rinka	In case of desktop type, when a keyboard is moved, the place can be made. But, in case of notebook type, the place cannot be made.
Kafuu	If figure can be drawn on a keyboard, it is comfortable.
Rinka	If a desk pad is put on a keyboard, it can be drawn.
Kafuu	It is impossible. Because the keys stick out from the body, a desk pad is not fixed.
Rinka	Then I think that a desk pad is fixed if feet are added to a desk pad.

Narrow space of surroundings of Kafuu'sPC

In case of NotePC with much marginal device, there is much line connected with it. Naturally, it is not moved easily.

And, in case of DesktopPC, the place can be used as working area by moving a keyboard. But in case of NotePC, because the keyboard and the display are unified, it is not possible.

Recipe

Rinka	It is Over Keyboard Handwriter (Tentative Name) that was born for such reason.
Kafuu	Yes. Materials are one piece of board and four feet. Glue these together like a photograph. It is easy!
Rinka	Please explain it a few more concretely.
Kafuu	Well, At first size of a board is decided from area of a keyboard.
Rinka	Because width of your PC are 30 cm, suitable width of a board are 40 cm. When the board is too short, you connot attach feet to board. Is depth decided by length between an edge of the desk and the screen?
Kafuu	Yes. But you must not forget the line with PC card. Therefore, in case of me, I decided that distance of a foot and a foot is 23 cm though distance with an edge of the screen and an edge of the desk is 28 cm.
Rinka	And, how did you decide length of a foot?
Kafuu	Length of a foot must be longer than height of the keyboard. But you cannot watch the screen when the feet are too long. Therefore length of a foot must be shorter than height of the screen.
Rinka	The last is a selection of quality of a board. You must select the board which is hard, and is smooth.
Kafuu	I used a veneer board painted the surface. The feet are squared lumber sold for 5 cm unit. Last, I fixed feet to the board using glue.
Rinka	If your materials reject glue, you must think about other methods.

Construction of Over Keyboard Handwriter (Tentative Name)

Materials costs are 1390 yen. Details, Veneer board (collar board, 600 mm * 250 mm * 10 mm) 750 yen, Four squared lumber (semicircular cylinder) 110 yen, Glue 200 yen. Almost materials costs are same as a price of mouse pad.

Besides, mouse pad of 25 mm * 20 mm was provided from a remainder of the veneer board cut off.

The time required of manufacturing are 30 minutes. Most of the time required are time waiting for glue drying.

It became easy to copy a display into paper by this device. You must give up using a keyboard at the same time. A mouse is usable.
